Absorbent, Ink. Does March Madness for Charity
Lawrence, KS, April 27, 2007 - Employees of Absorbent, Ink. raised $300 for a Lawrence charity with this year's NCAA basketball tournament. The winning organization was Health Care Access Clinic (www.HealthCareAccess.org).
Each employee donated a minimum of $5 to fill out an NCAA tournament bracket and designated a local charity to receive the winnings. Absorbent, Ink. matched the amount raised to donate to the winning charity.
"Our employees wanted to do an office pool this year. We felt by donating the money to a local charity we could have some fun and help out the community at the same time,” said Lee Eldridge, president of Absorbent, Ink. “There are some great charities and non-profits in Lawrence.”
