Marketing Campaign Idea for a Texas Blueberry Farm!
July 20th, 2007 by Abby Ink
I am a Texas Blueberry Farmer. I have been trying to get my gift shop up and running. I sell Texas products, jelly, jam, juice, muffins, breads, and pancake mixes, all from our own Blueberries. -Anette
Hi Anette,
Thanks for your question! This is going to be fun to answer because it will allow me to stretch my creative muscles. Imaginative promotions and advertising campaigns can be difficult to construct, but with my guidance and expertise, it should be a breeze to help you begin your business’ marketing campaign. First, however, I need to ask you some basic questions about your plans and what you want to achieve. First, who are you advertising your business too? Think about the people who would most likely buy your products. Are you an in-store business company or do you also sell your products online? These are all important questions to consider before constructing your marketing campaign.
You should also consider where you want to advertise your products. Do you want to place an ad in local papers or post bulletins around town? You could also consider a promotional campaign with giveaways that would reflect the product you are selling.
You should start thinking about what giveaways you want to be a part of your campaign. Here at Absorbent, Ink., we have a lot of promotional products that you can consider for your marketing campaign. A simple gift to giveaway to multiple people would be blue awareness bracelets. Although these bracelets are typically used to spread the word about a disease or a cause, you could use them to promote your blueberry products! An added bonus about these bracelets is that they are trendy, so they can be identifiable all over town. You could also conduct a campaign for cooks where you giveaway aprons. An apron is something that a cook will see everyday and will remind them constantly whose blueberry products they are using. The last idea I will throw out there is giving away blueberry scented candles or gel candles. These candles will fill your patrons’ homes with the scent of blueberries even when they are not cooking!

I hope one of these ideas stuck out in your mind and will inspire you to begin thinking about your marketing campaign. If you have any questions or want to begin planning this campaign, call our client services at 1-866-618-3471. Now you don’t have to worry about your campaign ‘till you are blue in the face! Ha. Blueberry humor. I am always thinking of great ideas.
Thanks!
